This year, the organizing team of XCBlade Hungary Talent are expecting teams and visitors to four Santa Claus Cup tournaments. Let's start with the main event right now!

The flag of the winner of the U10 AAA tournament will be placed on the top of the Dunaújváros Ice Hall next to the other 12 winners' flags. Four years ago, the home team managed to win as the first and only Hungarian team, but in the following three years, the Czech teams dominated: Chomutov, Trinec and last year Decin were able to reach the top of the podium.

Winning this tournament is not an easy task as you have to perform on very high levels and focus for three days, and there is very short time and little chance of climbing out of a bad series. We believe that only the best team performance is enough here to win the Santa Claus Cup event.

However, only one team can succeed, but not only the winning team is important in the Santa Claus Cup. The members of each participating team go home with a lot of new experiences and will remember this tournament for many years to come. This is more important to us organizers than victory. It may be an interesting addition that many clubs have this tournament as the last small ice surface tournament because they will be playing big ice surface from January or next season!

The year 2019 is special for us as well, as the number 13 seems to bring us luck, as teams from 9 countries come to the tournament: from Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary for the fifth year in a row, a team from Turkey will arrive, and it will be the first time for a team from Ukraine to participate in the event.
