Branislav Bendík, the Slovak skating technique coach has joined the coaching staff of Europe Summer Camp!

Branislav Bendík started his ice hockey career in Banska Bystrica and later developed as a player in the youth program of HC Pardubice and Hradec Kralove. As a senior he played in the Slovak Extraliga, in EBEL with Jesenice, in the Danish first league with Aalborg and in VHL, the second biggest Russian league. He had to retire because of a serious shoulder injury.

While he was playing abroad he was able to see Swedish and Finnish experts from up close. That was the time when he learned how to develop players and he decided that after retiring from playing he wants to work as a skating technique coach.

Last year he held three camps in Sweden, where he worked with kids and youth teams. Right now he is working with the professional and youth teams of HC 05 Banska Bystrica.

This indicates that we added a serious name to the already amazing coaching staff!
