XII. Santa Claus Cup 2018
Record participant number on the 12th tournament
In the year 2018, we organized the 12th Santa Claus Cup tournament. 52 teams registered, which was a record during the tournament's existence. Teams were competing in two age groups, three categories during three weekends: U9 AAA, U10 AA and U10 AAA. However, just like in the Stanley Cup, there is only one winner, so the highest level, the U10 AAA winner, HC Decin from the Czech Republic is the official 2018 champion.

Special prizes were also awarded this year. The best goalkeeper prize was awarded to HK Novy Jicin's goalie Javora Antonyn. Best defenseman was from the HK Dukla Trencin, Samuel Pisarcík, while the best striker was from HK Ruzinov, Samuel Marinek. MVP, so the most valuable player in the tournament came from the winning HC Decin team, Sanejstr Stanislav, and the most goals were scored by Michal Lazovsky from HK Altis.
U10AA
In the U10 AA the Slovak HC 05 Banska Bystrica team won the tournament held on 1-2 December. The Turkish Buz Adam HK finished second and the Czech HC Vajgar finished third in the two-day tournament.

Of course, special prizes were also awarded in the tournament. The best goalkeeper prize was awarded to DAB "A" goalie Ármin Vasánszki. Best defenseman was from the Czech HC Vajgar, Kotyza Adam, while the best striker was from the Turkish Buz Adam HK, Emin Inandi. MVP, so the most valuable player in the tournament came from the winning Banská Bystrica team, Lastiak Matyás, and the most goals were scored by Balvín Matej from Czech HC Frydek Mistek.
U9AAA
The youngest age group, U9 AAA had a Hungarian winner since Vasas Budapest took the first place. The final order was:

Of course, special prizes had also been awarded on this tournament. The best goalkeeper prize went to Spoták Roman from Slovakia Talents, while the best defense title was awarded to Gazdag Viliam from HC Kosice. HK Nové Zámky's attacker Oliver Tomastik won the best forward prize, while Réka Heizl from Vasas Budapest got the MVP award.
