This is the last year when this age group will have the opportunity to participate in the tournament - perhaps that's why we have such a strong participant list coming to us. In total, 11 teams from five countries will be in Budapest from 9-11 June 2023.

The 2009 age group will be very interesting, as the top three teams in each group will go through to the knockout stage and play for the 1-6. places. The 4-5-6th placed teams will play a round robin match against each other for the 7-11. places.

Accordingly, each team will play six or seven 2x20 minute matches - where each half will count as a separate result. The game time will be a running clock for the first fifteen minutes and pure game for the remaining five minutes.
